This allows you to attach specific Pentax binoculars(as well as other brands) that have a 1/4"-20 threaded tripod socket on the bottom of them to any tripod with a 1/4"-20 threaded tripod screw.  This includes the UCF & Papilio series of binoculars and likely others.  Simply glance at the underside of your binocular for a 1/4"-20 threaded tripod screw.
