Carbide tipped drill with positive cutting action. Cutting edges balanced within 0.0002". Fast cutting – long wearing – self centering. Web thinned to a point – positive cutting edge extends to drill center. Minimum pressure required to penetrate dense material – web point begins penetrating on contact. Cool tip carbide drills can withstand twice the torque of conventional carbide tipped twist drills at half the cost – a must for shallow holes. Vibration dampening tempered steel shank can be easily shortened for greatest accuracy and strength.
