Thank you for your interest!  This is the Madame Alexander Doll Club 1991 Convention Doll from the 9th Annual Doll Club Convention held in Charlotte, NC and thus "Queen Charlotte" was the PERFECT doll! This is the doll received at the Convention Banquet - "Queen Charlotte". She is one of the Limited Edition of 900 Dolls. Queen Charlotte was the Doll presented to anyone who attended the MADC Convention Banquet in 1991. This 10" Cissette is dressed in a beautiful taffeta dress based on a painting of the queen which is elaborately ornamented with pearls and gold lace. Under the taffeta outer dress is a brocade gold and aqua skirt. She is wearing white pantaloons under her dress and white hose and shoes with gold bows to match her gown. Her hair is appropriately styled.  This very special doll also comes with a Madame Alexander Doll Club Convention pin, which is a replica of the convention doll. Queen Charlotte's wrist tag is a showcase of Portrait dolls.
